SUMMARY:Seminar in Numerical Analysis: Xavier Antoine (Université de Lorra
 ine)
DESCRIPTION:The aim of this talk is to introduce nonoverlapping Schwarz dom
ain decomposition methods for time harmonic waves (acoustics\, electroma
gnetism). In particular\, we will focus on the construction of   rational
Padé transmission boundary conditions to get fast converging solvers fo
r prospecting high frequency problems. Some numerical simulations will il
lustrate the theoretical developments. The methods have been implemented
in a freely available software called GetDDM.
