GoFind! – Virtual time travel thanks to Augmented Reality
In an article in BAZ from 29.04.2019 and in the Uni News (https://www.unibas.ch/de/Aktuell/News/Uni-Research/Virtuelle-Zeitreise-dank-Augmented-Reality.html), the GoFind! App developed by Loris Sauter at the Databases and Information Systems research group in the context of his studies is presented. GoFind! uses techniques of Augmented Reality and makes it allows to visualize ancient and already gone city views on the basis of historical photographs at their original location.
