Successful presentation of the VIRTUE system of the DBIS research group at the Basel Museum Night

On this year's Museum Night, the Basel Historical Museum not only made the works of art physically placed in the museum accessible, but also opened the archive of unpublished works. These were presented as digital documents in a virtual exhibition developed by the Databases and Information Systems Research Group of the University of Basel as part of the VIRTUE project. A large number of visitors to Basel Historical Museum at the Museum Night were thus able to immerse themselves with the help of data glasses at the Barfüsser church in the exciting virtual world and enjoy a virtual tour of the museum in addition to the physical tour
