Welcome to the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science

On Monday, 14 September 2020, the University of Basel kicked off the new semester. During «Start Smart»-Week, around 2000 new students were welcomed by President Andrea Schenker-Wicki, Vice Presidents Thomas Grob and Torsten Schwede at the Event Hall of the Basel Exhibition Center.
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science also welcomes all new students. The staff and lecturers are happy to answer any questions and listen to your suggestions.
