Malte Helmert elected new fellow of the European Association for Artificial Intelligence

Prof. Dr. Malte Helmert, the deputy head of department and head of the research group Artificial Intelligence, was elected a Fellow of the European Association for Artificial Intelligence (EurAI). Appointments as Fellows are given for life to European researchers who have achieved outstanding and sustainable achievements in the field of artificial intelligence. In the EurAI, Helmert is the third Fellow at a Swiss university and is currently the only one to research and teach at the University of Basel.
