The talk will present some of the successful projects at Apple where Computer Vision and Machine Learning was used. It will include a deeper dive into the technology behind the real time facial motion capture on iPhone.

Bio
Dr. Brian Amberg studied „Information Science Cognition“ in Freiburg i. Brsg. From 2005 until 2010, he was a PhD in the research group of Prof. Dr. Vetter. In 2012, Amberg co-founded at EPFL faceshift, a startup specialised in motion capture technology. faceshift was acquired in 2015 by Apple.
