Master of Mathematics
Master’s students focus on two special fields in mathematics and gain initial experience in questions and problems of modern research.
They are introduced to the disciplinary literature and are capable of understanding and discussing academic texts in different languages. They learn to solve problems independently and not only to apply mathematical techniques and ways of thinking but also to develop them further.
By completing a master’s thesis, they learn to grasp complex mathematical lines of thought independently, to understand them in a broader context, and to present them intelligibly.
