Welcome to the Spring Semester of 2021
The University of Basel kicks off the new semester this week. Due to the epidemiological situation, face-to-face teaching at universities is currently not possible. Therefore, the spring semester has to start with fully online classes. The current planning provides that in the event of a positive development in the number of Corona cases in the course of the spring semester, face-to-face classes will be possible again. If the epidemiological situation allows it, a partial return to face-to-face teaching would be possible following the safety concepts implemented in the Fall Semester.
All sections of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science occasionally offer information events and colloquia in addition to the current courses. On the event calendar, you can get an overview of the upcoming events.
