Jendrik Seipp joins Linköping University as Junior Professor
Jendrik Seipp has joined the Representation, Learning and Planning research group at the Swedish Linköping University as a Junior Professor on January 1, 2021. He will lead the group together with Prof. Hector Geffner.
The research group focuses on the following areas:
- Learning representations for planning
- Planning models, algorithms, and techniques
- Planning and reinforcement learning
- Generalized planning
- Model-based vs. model-free intelligence
Most recently, Jendrik Seipp was a postdoctoral fellow in the Artificial Intelligence research group at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Basel. In February 2018 he received his doctorate degree at the University of Basel on the subject of “Counterexample-guided Cartesian Abstraction Refinement and Saturated Cost Partitioning for Optimal Classical Planning”.
