Section Computer Science present at FANTASY BASEL (3-5 May 2019)
FANTASY BASEL - The Swiss Comic Con (https://www.fantasybasel.ch) is the biggest festival in Switzerland for pop culture and therefore the "Generation Multimedia" and takes place from Friday 3.5.19 to Sunday 5.5.19 at Messe Basel.
In addition to various exhibitions and activities around gaming, eSport, game design, film and comics, FANTASY BASEL also offers insights into current computer science research activities.
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science will be represented with a booth in Hall 2.1. Our research activities that will be demonstrated include an interactive virtual and multimedia museum, novel methods for face manipulation in images, a mini high performance computing cluster as well as various videos. A visit is therefore highly recommended!
By the way, there will be a special rate for student tickets on Friday, May 3rd.
