Change in Study Coordination Mathematics

The Mathematics Program Coordinator, Heidi Karypidis, had her last working day in October. Her successor is Dr. Christine Zehrt.

At the end of October, Heidi Karypidis had her last working day at the DMI after more than 20 years, first at the Mathematical Institute and later at the DMI. She played a significant role in digitizating the administration of lectures and examinations in mathematics and was deeply committed to the design of the DMI website.

She also greatly valued personal contact with students. While Heidi Karypidis will miss her diverse and challenging work at the DMI, she looks forward to dedicating more time to her great passion: writing.

Dr. Christine Zehrt has been appointed as her ideal successor. Already lecturer in mathematics, Dr. Zehrt has now also taken on the role of program coordinator for mathematics.
