Information for first semester students
To give all first semester students of Mathematics & Computer Science a good start, an information event of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science will take place On Monday, September 20, 2021 at 4:15 p.m. in the large lecture hall of the Zentrum für Lehre und Forschung (Hebelstrasse 20, 4056 Basel).

Latest Measures Relating to the Coronavirus Situation
On Monday, September 20, 2021 the building at Spiegelgasse 1 will be reopened. Members of our university will have access.
The following guidelines are in place for the mezzanine floor:
- The indicated maximum number of people allowed must be strictly adhered to
- A mask must be worn all the time (Exception: When eating and drinking in the designated area)
- Even when a mask is worn a distance of 1.5 meters must be maintained all times
- The table surfaces are to be cleaned with the provided detergents before use
- Attendance must be recorded either by scanning the QR-code with the Swiss Covid App for Contact Tracing when entering and leaving the floor or by filling in the forms provided for contact tracing and placing them in the box nearby
