• August 2012 - January 2024: Extraordinarius (tenured Associate Professor) in Analysis at the Departement Mathematik und Informatik of the University of Basel.
• August 2011 - July 2012: Assistant Professor (with tenure track) in Analysis at the Departement Mathematik und Informatik of the University of Basel.
• September 2007 - July 2011: Assistant Professor (Ricercatore Universitario di Ruolo, tenured) at the University of Parma.
• Fall 2004 - Fall 2007: PhD in Mathematics at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa and at the University of Zurich.
