Probability Theory and the Riemann Hypothesis

There is a probability distribution attached to the Riemann zeta function which allows one to formulate the Riemann hypothesis in terms of the cumulants of this distribution and is due to Biane, Pitman and Yor. The cumulants can be related to generalized Euler-Stieltjes constants and to Li's criterion for the Riemann hypothesis. We will discuss these results and present some new results related to this theme.
