Quasi-Optimal Schwarz Domain Decomposition Methods for Time Harmonic Waves

The aim of this talk is to introduce nonoverlapping Schwarz domain decomposition methods for time harmonic waves (acoustics, electromagnetism). In particular, we will focus on the construction of  rational Padé transmission boundary conditions to get fast converging solvers for prospecting high frequency problems. Some numerical simulations will illustrate the theoretical developments. The methods have been implemented in a freely available software called GetDDM.
